El nuevo Prince of Persia se desarrolla en un universo diferente al de la última entrega aparecida en 2008. Concretamente, nos desplazamos argumentalmente hasta el lapso de tiempo comprendido entre The Sands of Time y Warrior Within, algo que nos lleva directamente hasta el reino de nuestro hermano, amenazado por el poderoso Ejército de las Arenas.
De esta manera tan abrupta y cargada de acción comienza esta aventura en la que, como habéis adivinado, nuestra primera tarea como príncipes consistirá en proteger el reino para después dar su merecido a esa panda de malvados y diabólicos seres.
Todo eso conservando, por supuesto, el espíritu de la saga, con un marcado ritmo aventurero y muchas acrobacias que se complementan con algo de exploración, frecuentes puzles y muchos retos plataformeros, sin contar, por supuesto, la importante mecánica que suponen los combates. Todo metido en un producto que promete una enorme calidad, auspiciada por las mejoras tecnológicas que han tenido lugar durante seis años desde Sands of Time.
