Batman y los supervillanos desatan su furia en el fascinante mundo de pesadilla y locura del cómic. El Arkham Asylum es el manicomio de Gotham City, y es donde están encerrados la práctica totalidad de supervillanos de los comics de Batman. En el cómic, y por extensión en el videojuego, se nos cuenta como el día de los Inocentes los reclusos del sanatorio se amotinan y toman por rehenes a todos los funcionarios. El Joker se pone en contacto con las autoridades de Gotham, y les hace saber que todos los secuestrados morirán si Batman no permanece una noche entre los muros del manicomio. Éste, lógicamente, debe aceptar las condiciones. En el videojuego nos enfrentaremos al Joker, al Arlequín, a el Pingüino, al Espantapajaros o a Poison Ivy entre muchos otros, en lo que será un festival del mal, donde se darán cita los más célebres supervillanos del hombre murciélago. Sin duda uno de los juegos más esperados.. a viciar!
