SINOPSIS   Un misterioso maestro del crimen se ha propuesto recuperar el tesoro perdido de los Templarios, pero el único hombre que le podría ayudar, el historiador Maxime de Borrego, prefiere la muerte a darle el secreto. Su sobrino, Paul, ofrece sus servicios a Sorbier, el comisario de policía que investiga la muerte, para que atrape al hombre sin rostro y así pueda consumar su venganza.
