SINOPSIS   En el siglo IV, Egipto era una provincia del Imperio Romano. Su ciudad más emblemática, Alejandría, se había convertido en el último baluarte de un mundo en crisis, confuso y violento. En el año 391, las revueltas callejeras alcanzaron una de sus instituciones más legendarias: la biblioteca.
