SINOPSIS Relato sobre el asesinato del caudillo riojano Juan Facundo Quiroga a manos del ignoto gaucho Santos Pérez. La historia está centrada en la figura del asesino, un hombre marginado socialmente, analfabeto, apolítico y ladrón. El film analiza la psicología de quien, acorralado por el poder político, es inculcado a matar.
